For several years, Bainbridge Sports Management has helped provide students with unique opportunities to intern at major sporting events, partnering with charitable foundations at each site. Our goal is to provide not only a memorable internship, but also service hours, to our students at destinations globally.
President and Founder Chaka Bainbridge has been working in the sports industry for over 14 years and has served on several large-scale events advisory boards. Along with running a successful sports agency, Chaka has had the pleasure of working with University Sports Management programs, and high school athletic departments throughout his career.
The idea for Bainbridge Sports Management was fostered when a previous mentee requested an internship for an upcoming event in which Chaka was involved. The positive feedback received from this individual prompted the expansion of a new program, allowing for an unparalleled opportunity for students with interests in travelling, work, and community experience.
While interns not only earn valuable work experience and community service hours, a key element of success in this program is the growth of independence an individual can gain, whilst also creating life-long friendships.
The ability to network and make connections in not only the sporting, but business world as a whole, has led to full-time work for many graduates of the program.
We strive to provide a once in a lifetime experience of travel and work. Priding ourselves on the amount of returning interns year in and out who look forward to their next big adventure!
